An online experience — a place for everyone, no matter one's age, circumstance, or ability.

To bring awareness about online accessibility and advocate for a more inclusive online experience.

When we think about it, we all use the Internet for many things: shopping, research, operating our businesses, and entertainment. Children and college students are working online for some aspect of school, and online, remote learning became the norm for many in 2020 and 2021.

What would it be like for us if we couldn’t clearly see, hear, or manipulate a keyboard when we were doing any of these online activities?

According to WorldBank.org, “One billion people, or 15% of the world’s population, experience some form of disability, and disability prevalence is higher for developing countries. One-fifth of the estimated global total, or between 110 million and 190 million people, experience significant disabilities. Persons with disabilities are more likely to experience adverse socioeconomic outcomes such as less education, poorer health outcomes, lower levels of employment, and higher poverty rates.”

We believe the online world needs to be a place for everyone—no matter their age, ability, or circumstance

Awareness is the first step toward change and not everyone is aware of how to have the online world more accessible, or even if their own websites or businesses are accessible to everyone.

DIBadvocates focuses on creating awareness through researched blog posts and articles, the CoCreation Conversations’ free Zoom calls once a month with knowledgeable guests in the Accessibility arena, and a Speakers’ Summit with multiple speakers who are experts in a variety of areas touching the DIBadvocates’ topics of interest.

We help you advocate for diversity, inclusion, and belonging ONLINE—
—and have an accessible website so you will be at less risk for costly lawsuits.

Website Accessibility

For business owners, online accessibility is not simply something nice to offer on our websites, it’s also become a necessity.

International legislation and standards like the ADA, WCAG2.1, Section 508, and EN301549 are setting, and requiring, Accessibility Compliance for businesses and organizations with an online presence—and that’s just about everyone, these days. Businesses, organizations, and some websites not conforming to these standards are at risk for major lawsuits.

Certain types of businesses and organizations have more risk than others, but by bringing our websites into compliance, we become advocates for diversity, inclusion, and belonging online.

An added benefit to making websites compliant is enhanced SEO, and this actually increases the potential for more visibility and business for us—a win-win for everyone!

We are positioned to coach and advise our clients, as we’ve always done. DIBadvocates and The CoCreation Community are partnering with professionals who can help anyone wishing to make their websites accessible.

We have vetted partners and affiliates to help with the remediation of existing websites with various levels of compliance. (An affiliate relationship is one where The CoCreation Community will receive a commission for fulfilled referrals to vetted partners.)

We assist our DIBadvocates clients in choosing the most appropriate solutions for their unique needs.
